As the business practises and economy in New Zealand have changed so has the skills in how monies have been collected. With his Credit Management roles in industries such as construction, roading, hire and meat he realised that the New Zealand market is competitive, and that collection of payments whilst retaining customers is of importance to the profitability of any business.

His philosophy for good credit management is clear communication, specific direction and the understanding of the clients and their customers. He also believes that prevention is considerably more cost effective than Legal Recovery.

Laurie has developed excellent negotiation skills over many years of being involved in the credit industry and prides himself on the collection of all debts large and small. His reputation with difficult debtors is uncompromising and he ensures there still remains the opportunity for mutual business relationships.
